The Late Bloomer Course Series
My Late Bloomer Course Series was created with you in mind. As a fellow late bloomer I get how not understanding how your body works can lead to anxiety and I am here to help!
I am a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women's Health with an active OB/GYN practice in Washington, DC. I see women every day who are scared and confused and a common theme I have noticed after more than 15 years of practice is that they were never taught how their body is supposed to work. Many women simply feel ashamed of their questions and don't have a non-judgmental resource with whom to trust their health information and discuss their concerns.
The goal of this series is not to turn you into a Nurse Practitioner but to get you caught up, relieve your fears, and help you better promote your health.
Start with this free intro course and take it from there!
Sincerely,
Lisa
Welcome To Your Body!
This course is for women of any age who feel like they did not receive the education they need and deserve related to their body and the female anatomy.
This 20 minute course is also the first course in a series of health classes intended to deep dive into women's health, answering the most common patient questions from your perspective.
Take this course to ensure you are up to speed on the basic form and function of your body and prior to taking any of my other Lisa Holloway Health courses.
This course covers:
How many holes you have and what they do
The vagina and what is going on in there
Glands at the vaginal opening
The uterus and your cervix
Ovaries and ovulation
My goal is to take you from unsure and uncertain to informed and confident.
What's Going On Down There?
Ever find yourself wondering what that bump is, should your vagina look like that, or what that pain is? You are not alone.
Where You Feel What
That pain in your belly, that bump on your skin.... where you feel something can often tell us a lot of what the cause might be.
What Do They Do Anyway?
What is the point of your breasts, vaginal discharge, and those uterine cramps anyway? This course will cover basic form and function.
